About Alvoki
Why Alvoki exists
AI agents should do more than answer questions. They become substantially more useful when they can carry work through to completion across tools, APIs and company systems.
Making that possible exposes a mismatch: credentials and permissions were designed primarily for trusted people and conventional applications—not for agents that interpret changing instructions, encounter untrusted content and can make mistakes.
Alvoki gives agents their own identities and bounded authority. Access can be limited to particular tools and resources, sensitive actions can require approval, and actions taken through Alvoki are recorded and reviewable. The underlying provider credentials stay outside the agent environment.
The name Alvoki comes from the Esperanto word for “to call upon” or “invoke.” It captures the ambition to expand the range of systems agents can call upon—and the scale of work they can take on.
Founder
Alvoki was founded and is built by Jan Doms, a software engineer since 2009.
His experience spans distributed systems, data infrastructure, application security and AI engineering. Alvoki grew out of his work with coding agents and the recurring problem of giving them useful access without handing them broad credentials.
Alvoki is developed and operated by Yami Consulting CommV, an independent software company based in Ghent, Belgium. Yami Consulting is registered under enterprise number 0660.688.477.
